Via: Perkasie Borough Police PERKASIE, Pa. - Authorities in Perkasie Borough are looking out for a bear that has been the subject of multiple reported sightings and may have been injured by a car early Wednesday morning.

Police say they received a series of reports of bear sightings beginning Tuesday, notifying them that a single black bear was moving through the borough.

Most of the sightings have been concentrated in the area between Guth Elementary School and Blooming Glen Road. Wednesday morning, police responded to Ridge Road, near Branch Valley Fish and Game for a one-vehicle accident.

The driver reported that he hit a small bear that fled after being struck.Officials say there was evidence that the bear may have been injured.

Police: Man shot once in head dies from injuries in East Germantown
police lights (FOX 9)PHILADELPHIA - A man has died from his injuries after he was shot in the head in the East Germantown section of the city.The incident happened on the 6300 block of Morton Street on the highway at approximately 11:12 p.m. Monday. Police say a 27-year-old man suffered a gunshot wound to the head.

PHILADELPHIA - Philadelphia police say two teens were shot sitting in a car in the city's Olney section.It happened on the 5400 block of North 5th Street around 5:30 p.m.According to police, the victims, ages 15 and 19, were inside a red Chevrolet Impala at a red light when they were shot by occupants of an unknown vehicle. The two victims were taken to Albert Einstein Medical Hospital in stable condition.So far, no arrests have been made. This is a developing story.
