Two police officers who missed their wedding due to the coronavirus outbreak were able to honour their big day with a mini ceremony at work.
Sergeant Marie McNulty and PC Jay McGreavy should have been tying the knot yesterday but were working to protect the community instead.
But despite their plans being ruined, their colleagues at Greater Manchester Police couldn’t let them head out to patrol the streets of Bury without some kind of celebration.
Sergeant McNulty was welcomed into the office to the tune of 'Here Comes the Bride' and the pair were given corsages to wear for the rest of their shifts.
