Almost 10 years ago horror fans across the world rejoiced after American Horror Story hit our screens and finally there was a show that simultaneously repulsed and enthralled.
The first series, American Horror Story: Murder House, started airing in 2011, and fans instantly became addicted to the show created by Ryan Murphy who was willing to push the gore boundaries on the telly.
Nine years and nine seasons later, fans have also purged and enjoyed series focusing on demonic possession at an insane asylum, murderous clowns, to a family crumbing after moving into a haunted mansion.
Other seasons had fans following the eery tales of a group of nuclear war survivors living in a bunker and a white supremacist who attracts a cult following.
