Premier League, EFL and PFA release fresh statement on date football will return

The Premier League, EFL and PFA have released a fresh statement regarding the date that professional football will return in England.

The coronavirus pandemic has seen football delayed until April 30 at the earliest, though many believe that date will be pushed further back.

The FA recently announced that this season would be completed with the current campaign able to go on past June 1. And the new statement now announces that the season will not resume until it “is safe and conditions allow”.
