Brighton bigwig Paul Barber says football must listen to the likes of Troy Deeney and N’Golo Kante for Project Restart to succeed.
Watford skipper Deeney and Chelsea star Kante have both refused to take part in Phase One of the Premier League’s big return.
And Barber, the Brighton chief executive, suggested many of his players have concerns about Phase Two, which includes full contact training.
He said: “There are nearly 40,000 people that have died from this virus in the last two months in this country alone. “When you have a backdrop like that, it would be incredibly insensitive and disrespectful not to take into account anyone’s fears . “We have to address those fears – whether they’re public or private.
