Troy Deeney could be ready to take over from Andrew Flintoff as a talkSPORT breakfast co-host. The Watford striker has been one of the most powerful voices during the coronavirus crisis.
England cricket legend Flintoff has been excellent alongside main host Laura Woods but will stand aside when his Top Gear show resumes filming again.
Deeney is one of the leading candidates to be among the co-hosts which would be quite a coup to get a current player onboard.
He might not be on every day as the show is from 6-10am and the 31-year-old would have to make it work around his commitments with Watford.
