As senior members of the Royal Family, Prince William and Kate Middleton have often been spotted jetting to exotic places. Although like thousands of Brits, they have found themselves grounded at their homes amid the Covid-19 pandemic.
But their work has often take them overseas as they carry out their royal duties - and inevitably will again. And when it does, one day William will be travelling as King, and one thing will be crucially different.
Because when she travels abroad, the Queen doesn't have a passport. And when William takes over as head of the Royal Family, this rule will come into force for him, and he will not need one.
