Kate Middleton has made an extremely rare television appearance as she chatted on This Morning. The Duchess of Cambridge joined Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield on Thursday's show for a very special reason.

Kate appeared on the programme, without husband Prince William, to launch a lockdown photography project that she hopes will help to capture "the spirit of the nation" during the coronavirus pandemic.

The Duchess is a keen amateur photographer and is more often than not the person behind the lens when Kensington Palace releases new photographs of the Cambridge family.
