Queen Elizabeth II‘s birthday celebrations in London have been officially canceled due to the coronavirus. Buckingham Palace released an update about the Trooping The Colour, which is considered the most royal celebration of the year and held in honor of the sovereign’s birthday. “In line with Government advice, it has been agreed that The Queen’s Birthday Parade, also known as Trooping the Colour, will not go ahead in its traditional form,” the statement reads. “A number of other options are being considered, in line with relevant guidance.” Just a week ago, the Palace revealed that the Queen‘s garden parties and upcoming scheduled visits were canceled for the time being.
