Rebekah Vardy has donated a huge sum of money to help protect frontline medics who are battling the coronavirus in hospital.
Jamie Vardy’s wife made the huge gesture as she gave money for scrubs for doctors in an anonymous donation to the charity campaign Scrubs for Leicester.The 37-year-old’s identity was revealed as having made the donation after fans saw her initials in the pledge.
Rebekah is currently self-isolating at home with her footballer husband Jamie and their children; Meghan, 13, Taylor, nine, Sofia, five, Finley, three, and baby daughter Olivia, who the couple welcomed late last year.
Dr Nicki Lygo, who founded the campaign wrote of Rebekah’s incredible donation: “It is an incredible amount of generosity, we were aiming for.
