The legendary Rolling Stones got some satisfaction with a new chart-topping song, their first No. 1 hit on iTunes. On Thursday, the band released “Living in a Ghost Town,” with an accompanying video, and the track jumped to the top of the iTunes’ song chart, besting recent efforts by Drake, Travis Scott, The Weeknd and Justin Bieber.
It was the band’s first No. 1 hit in 40 years. Mick Jagger has opined that he thought the tune “would resonate through the times that we’re living in right now.” The Stones had not released a new tune since “Doom and Gloom” and “One More Shot” in 2012.
