The Minister for Health has said if the EMA authorises authorises the Pfizer/BioNTech vaccine within a few days of its 21 December meeting, it is possible the vaccine could be rolled out in Ireland at a very low level by the end of the year.
The European Medicnes Agency are due to hold a meeting on that vaccine next Monday, eight days earlier than originally planned.
