A Salsburgh mum is realising her own fairytale after turning tales for her young daughters into a new range of children’s books.Michelle Nangle has recently published her first story, entitled The Turtle and the Spider, and production work is underway on a second, named Mr Sniffles.Writing under the pen name of Shelly Mack, she has completed a dozen more stories since the start of the year and plans to publish the whole range after receiving positive feedback from children and parents at Airdrie nurseries.Her future stories include a host of different characters with adventures designed to appeal to her young audiences, including a hedgehog, corn snake and two “mischievous sisters” in honour of daughters Olivia and Grace.
