Glasgow care home has been left devastated after losing its first resident to Covid-19 after staying clear of the virus during the first wave.

A number of staff and residents at David Cargill House, in the city’s West End, have recently tested positive for coronavirus and are now self-isolating.

One resident at the home has sadly lost their life after falling ill with the bug, management have now confirmed.
