For Matt, who lost his job when the airline Flybe collapsed in March 2020 and found himself with no income and little hope of finding a job, co-founding Old Mother Hunt Rum with his wife has proved a lifeline.“We’d always dreamed of starting our own business, although the timing could have been better,” says Becky, 31, who trained as a teacher.“Like many others in lockdown, we struggled to adapt to a different life and had to find a way to carry on for us and our two kids.
