The Scottish Government has confirmed that there have been no new deaths from coronavirus in the last 24 hours. The latest figures for Scotland showed that 2,288 new cases have also been identified overnight, brining the total since the pandemic began to 685,815.It brings the death toll since last March – of people who first tested positive for the virus within the previous 28 days – to 9,389.
There are currently 771 people in hospital confirmed to have the virus with 57 being treated in intensive care.
