MOUNT HOLLY, N.J. - A severe thunderstorm warning has been issued by the National Weather Service for Burlington County until 1:15, Wednesday afternoon.At 12:30, a thunderstorm capable of producing 60 mph wind gusts was near Jacksonville.Towns impacted include Medford, Marlton, Browns Mills, Lumberton, Wrightstown, Cinnaminson, Columbus and Mount Holly.It includes the New Jersey Turnpike between exits 4 and 6A and 295 between mile markers 37 and 55.DOWNLOAD THE FOX 29 WEATHER AUTHORITY APPTorrential rainfall was reportedly a threat with this storm.
With the ground already saturated, flash flooding can occur suddenly. Do not drive through flooded roadways. Frequent cloud to ground lightning was also occurring with this storm.
