SPFL bosses to be dragged into Dutch fallout as De Graafschap look for help to overturn KNVB decision

Dutch second tier side De Graafschap are ready to ask SPFL bosses for help if they go to court to overturn a decision to deny them promotion.

The Dutch FA have declared the leagues null and void because of the coronavirus and it means there be no promotion or relegation in Holland.

De Graafschap are currently sitting in the runners-up spot behind Cambuur in the second tier and will be denied promotion after the controversial decision.Now the two clubs are preparing legal action against the KNVB for the decision and have been inundated by Dutch lawyers keen to take up their case.
