Starbucks shares rose 3% in pre-market trading following the announcement. The company said last week it expected 90% of its company-owned stores in the U.S.

would be reopened by early June. It said at the time about half of its U.S. stores were closed, and it expected to begin reopening them this week. To keep up with the latest news on the pandemic, subscribe to News 6′s coronavirus newsletter or go to ClickOrlando.com/coronavirus.
