Plans are in place to reopen primary schools in England to pupils in June, Prime Minister Boris Johnson has announced. School children will go back in stages, beginning with reception, Year 1 and Year 6.

The Prime Minister made the announcement in his address to the nation on Sunday evening. Secondary pupils facing exams next year will also get 'at least some time' with their teachers before the holidays, Mr Johnson said.
