Shoppers have accused supermarkets of ripping off customers through the rest of the year after massive price cuts before Christmas.

The festive season saw a number of the main supermarkets selling vegetables, including big bags of potatoes, for just 15p. Among them was Lidl, from where we shared a photo of its discounted display, showing swede, sprouts, carrots, parsnips and more.

Both Tesco and Aldi had similar discounts, while Morrisons and Sainsbury's were selling some veg for 19p.
