Lorraine Kelly choked up while speaking to her daughter Rosie from Singapore live on Good Morning Britain today. The 60-year-old presenter appeared particularly upset when saying goodbye and tried to hold back the tears.

Rosie, who is her daughter with husband Steve Smith, has been living in Singapore, which has now gone into the first day of lockdown.

As coronavirus prevention procedures have been in place since January, Rosie said that it "hasn't been much of a shock. "I remember you and dad showing me videos of the toilet roll fiasco," Rosie told Lorraine.
