Tesco boss Dave Lewis has laid out exactly how our shopping habits have changed since the coronavirus pandemic struck the UK.
The supermarket's chief executive explained that his store has seen a return to shopping patterns last seen ten or 15 years ago, after the initial wave of panic buying subsided.
But not quite everything is back the way it was, he explained in an interview with the BBC, with shortages of home baking ingredients like flour and yeast still with us. "People are shopping once a week, a little like they did 10 or 15 years ago, rather than two, three or four times a week that was happening before the crisis," Lewis said.
