Tesco is has announced new changes to make it easier for shoppers to get a delivery slot. All supermarkets have been in high demand since the start of the coronavirus pandemic and have introduced extensive measures to make sure the public are getting the supplies they need.
One issue people have faced is getting a home delivery slot with stores continually having to increase its capacity. In his latest email to customers, Tesco's CEO Dave Lewis said that before the crisis, seven per cent of its grocery sales were delivered to homes - which works out at around one in 15 households.
