Alex Jones brought The One Show to a halt live on air after she suffered an injury. The 43-year-old TV presenter exclaimed that she had got "blood everywhere" after slicing her finger just before a link took the camera back on her.
What made it worse was that her co-presenter Alex Scott was unable to help her as social distancing rules, due to the coronavirus pandemic, meant she could only sit and watch as Alex asked if there was anything she could use to stem the bleeding.
The BBC evening show started off innocently enough as Alex introduced what was coming up on the show. It was when Matt Alright was handing back to her after revealing what the Watchdog section had in store for viewers, that he was met with slightly chaotic scenes.
