DR Ranj Singh has opened up on the harrowing detail of his work on the NHS front line amid the coronavirus pandemic. This Morning viewers will have seen less of the Strictly Come Dancing star during the global health crisis, as he focusses on his role as a medic in a London Accident and Emergency department.
Last year, the 40-year-old told how he had completed his final shifts at St George's Hospital, and has since moved on to a Children's A and E ward.
He told Mirror Online of the "devastating" deaths he had witnessed - and how his role was as much to support their grieving parents, too.
Dr Ranj said: "We’ve had children in intensive care, some because of coronavirus, and some have sadly passed away. "The loss of a child is never easy, you.
