Three new coronavirus symptoms added to list - and could appear two weeks after infection

Three new coronavirus symptoms have been added to the official list. The US Centers for Disease Control (CDC) has added a runny nose or congestion, nausea and diarrhoea to the recognised symptoms of Covid-19.

These new signs come on top of coughing, fever, fatigue, muscle or body aches, headaches, loss of taste or smell and a sore throat, LancsLive reports.

The CDC says symptoms may appear between two to 14 days after exposure to the virus. Dr Miriam Stoppard previously said: "Quite often diarrhoea can be a symptom, and in up to half of patients, other gastrointestinal problems are reported.
