Sadly, a summer holiday abroad this summer is unlikely with the new quarantine rules. Many travellers will be put off by the requirement of two weeks quarantine upon returning to the UK.
The new rules mean nearly everyone entering the UK from next Monday will face two weeks isolation at home - or in suitable accommodation.
Anyone discovered breaching the rules could face fines up to£1,000 and Public Health England has said it will be carrying out spot checks.
But for some people booked to go abroad this summer, they might not view the quarantine as an issue. If you're working from home, it could mean that the two-weeks of self isolation aren't an issue.
