Festival goers have been left devastated this morning as the news breaks that Scottish festival TRNSMT will not go ahead. Thousands of excited fans were all set to dance and sing in Glasgow Green between on the second weekend in July for the annual celebration of music.
But now, organisers have dashed their dreams by confirming that the much-loved festival will not go ahead this year due to imperative social distancing measures surrounding the outbreak of the coronavirus.
Music stars such as Liam Gallagher, Sam Fender, Lewis Capaldi and Courteeners were set to sing their lungs out on the iconic Scottish stage, but festival goers will now have to wait impatiently under 2021 for the musical shindig to resume.
