Delaware now joins Pennsylvania and New Jersey in receiving federal funding for eligible local governments and certain private nonprofit organizations for emergency measures.
As part of the declaration, FEMA Administrator Pete Gaynor named Homeland Security official MaryAnn Tierney as the Federal Coordinating Officer.
