As musicians increasingly use livestreams to engage with fans, livestreaming gaming platform Twitch is staffing up. The company has snagged Spotify's Tracy Chan to serve as head of product and engineering for music.
Based in San Fransisco, Chan previously spent four years as Spotify's product director, where he was the product lead for the platform's Spotify for Artists service, publishing analytics, songwriter pages and more.
He joined Spotify in 2016 after the streaming giant bought his startup, CrowdAlbum, which aggregates photos and videos taken at music events.
