The number of coronavirus deaths in the UK from all settings has risen by a further 414 - taking the total past the grim milestone of 60,000.
A further 14,879 cases have also been recorded. It comes after 648 deaths were recorded yesterday - on the first day England's second national lockdown came to an end.
Earlier today, figures showed a further 381 people died of Covid-19 in UK hospitals. In England a further 295 people died of Covid-19 in hospital, 24 in Wales, 51 in Scotland and 11 in Northern Ireland.
The grim figures represent a fall on the 438 recorded by this measure last Thursday, November 26. Yesterday a further 465 people's deaths from Covid-19 in UK hospitals were added to the grim tally.
