U.K. Prime Minister Boris Johnson laid out the government’s five-point plan on Monday for “living with COVID,” which will include ramping up their vaccine rollout and a “move away” from legal restrictions and allow people to make their own decisions on taking part in various social activities.
Under Step Four, which is expected to begin July 19, the legal requirement would be removed on wearing face masks and the government would not require a “COVID certificate” to enter venues or events.
He added this would take effect on July 19, but stressed it’s only if they move to the next step of reopening on that date..
