Lionel Blair has received the first of two Covid vaccine jabs at the age of 92. The veteran actor and entertainer looked to be smiling behind his mask as a nurse rolled up his sleeve to administer the injection.
After it was done, he held his arms wide and beamed for the camera. The vaccine, developed by US company Pfizer/BioNtech, requires two injections, the second of which should take place for Lionel in around three weeks.
This means Lionel will be receiving a second injection sometime in early January. Three weeks after the second jab, he will have achieved immunity from the virus.
