600,000 people have already been given the first Covid-19 vaccine in the UK between December 8 and December 20 according to the UK government.

And tens of thousands of coronavirus vaccines will be delivered across Wales next week, one of Wales' medical advisers has said.

In total 40,000 doses of the Oxford AstraZeneca vaccine will be circulated around the country after it was approved for use in the UK on Wednesday.

Grandmother Margaret Keenan became the first person in the world to receive the vaccine on December 8. Among those who have received the first of two required jabs, are also a number of celebrities that qualified for the vaccination.
