Vicky Pattison had fears over her mother’s life when she had previously tested positive for coronavirus earlier this year. The Geordie Shore star has opened up about the ordeal, with her mum, Caroll, developing symptoms after a trip in Hong Kong, Singapore and New York. ‘She was taken ill from coming back from New York, exhibiting signs of Covid-19 in February,’ she told The Sun. ‘She said to me: “Honestly, I wouldn’t wish this on my worst enemy, it’s not just a flu.”’ Caroll was fortunately able to overcome the illness, although she is still experiencing exhaustion and breathing difficulties.
Vicky is also currently self-isolating away from her during the lockdown, and admitted she felt ‘helpless’ while her mum was ill.
