Watford have become the second Premier League team to sign a player in coronavirus lockdown after confirming Le Havre midfielder Papa Gueye’s move.
The Hornets have paid an undisclosed fee as the 21-year-old’s contract at the French side expires this summer. With 25 appearances this season, the youngster has also pulled on Les Bleus’ national shirt at U19 and U18 level.
And Nigel Pearson has made him the club’s first signing of the summer, with an agreement to arrive at Vicarage Road on July 1.
