Royal Ascot is the biggest racing festival to be held since the sport’s return at the start of June. Like other professional sports, racing was suspended in mid-March due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Racing is now being held behind closed doors, meaning this year’s festival will feel very different without fans present. Fans this year will have to watch the bumper 36-race festival on TV over the five days from Tuesday June 16 until Saturday June 20.
