Jason Manford's stint as Iceland delivery driver saw him rescue cyclist in van collision

Jason Manford has opened up about a scary incident that occurred during his stint as an Iceland delivery driver. The comedian offered up his services to the supermarket after being initially rejected by Tesco.

He sought alternative employment after his theatre gigs were cancelled due to the coronavirus pandemic. Despite his delight at accepting a temporary job with the frozen food giant, Jason's time on the job wasn't without it's drama.

While on the road, Jason had to come to the rescue of a cyclist involved in a collision with a van. Jason took the injured man to the nearby Hotel Football, owned by Gary Neville, to await medical attention.
