As the government slowly begins to ease restrictions on public life, some shops have started to reopen their doors. At the Middlebrook Retail Park in Horwich, Bolton, there are usually thousands of shoppers flocking to their favourite stores every weekend but at the moment many of those businesses are closed.
Only shops selling the most essential items have remained opened throughout the coronavirus lockdown. Staff are also working hard to make things as safe as possible, with parts of the retail park closed and others areas cordoned off to allow people to stay two metres apart while they queue.
However, now that the government has changed its guidelines to the public, some high street staples have started to serve customers again.
