Around 25 nursing homes are to receive the coronavirus vaccine from Monday and there will be a full roll-out the week after, the Chief Executive of Nursing Homes Ireland has said Speaking on RTÉ's Today with Philip Boucher Hayes, Tadhg Daly said they are currently ensuring all the necessary paperwork and documentation has been received from the HSE across nursing homes.
He said it is an ongoing process and said some of their members have not yet received it. "It is complex but what we are following is the HSE national consent policy and that will be followed rigorously to ensure all those receiving the vaccine confirmed they have consented to it," Mr Daly said.
