HIROSHIMA, Japan (AP) - Aug. 6, 2020 marks 75 years since the atomic bombing of Hiroshima, Japan. In 1945, the U.S.
attack on Hiroshima killed 140,000 people. Three days later, a second atomic bomb was dropped on the Japanese city of Nagasaki, killing 70,000 and prompting Japan to surrender in World War II.
