With the UK yet to remain in lockdown for an unknown number of weeks, all of the major supermarkets continue to evolve and change how they are operating to ensure shoppers and staff are kept as safe as possible.
Aldi is no exception, and today has introduced a set of new measures to make sure shoppers are put at minimum risk, by making changes to its trolleys, baskets and checkout systems.
The supermarket told Manchester Evening News : " From this week, customers will also be offered wipes to disinfect trolleys and baskets when they enter Aldi stores. "As a further measure to improve customer safety, Aldi is introducing new priority shopping hours for elderly or vulnerable customers who have no option but to visit stores. "From
