Amir Khan has come under fire from fans after he was accused of flouting Covid-19 lockdown rules by 'driving 230-miles to a restaurant in Coventry'.

The 34-year-old boxing champion was criticised by fans after an image surfaced on social media of him taken outside The Farmhouse restaurant in Coventry.

According to the social media page of the lavish restaurant, Amir visited the eatery over the weekend and was pictured shunning the two-metre distancing rule by putting his arms around two friends.

While the lavish dining spot is currently closed, it is serving a drive-thru takeaway option that diners can eat from their cars.
