Anger as shameless baby formula hoarders fill four trolleys in supermarket

Hoarders stocking up on trolleys full of baby formula have sparked anger after video of them emptying shelves was shared on social media.

A woman is seen filling trolleys with the in-demand product at a superstore in Sydney in Australia. The outraged woman who filmed the incident claimed four customers were buying four tins at a time and then going back in and buying more.

It happened at a Coles supermarket at Hurstille's Westfield Shopping Centre, she said. The shopper fumed in a social media post: "In the height of a worldwide pandemic and empty shelves in your stores everyday, can you please explain to me how people, who are known hoarders of baby formula, are still able to get around your store policy and buy your whole supply of baby
