Another Super League game is set to fall foul of Covid-19 after a positive case in the Salford Red Devils camp. Rugby League Live understands at least one Red Devils player tested positive for the virus on Tuesday morning and has resulted in several track and trace stand-downs.
Players were set to be tested again today. As such, the Red Devils are without more than seven players due to Covid-19 and their game with Wakefield Trinity on Thursday is set to be called off.
The club's press conference, due to take place this morning, has been postponed. Talks between the two clubs and the RFL are underway, but the game is set to be postponed.
