It’s been three months since we last went for a professional mani or pedi, and our nails are certainly looking worse for wear for it.
While lockdown has got us acquiring new skills such as hiding overgrown gel polish and mastering nail art techniques, it’s just not the same as sitting down in a salon chair for a file and polish accompanied by a friendly chat with your regular nail technician.
Fortunately for our ragged cuticles, it’s looking like a lot of salons will be back open for business on 4 July. And we’re all aware of the new rules on social distancing, but how will that REALLY work in an environment where human contact is an essential part of the service?
