Coronavirus: Economic recovery ‘off to a strong start,’ still have a long way to go, Bank of Canada governor says

Tiff Macklem, governor of the Bank of Canada, said on Thursday that the country’s economic recovery amid the COVID-19 pandemic is “off to a strong start,” and they have “seen some encouraging numbers.” However, he added that they still have a “long climb back” and expect the pace of recovery could start to slow.
