Barbra Streisand has hit out at President Donald Trump during the coronavirus crisis and accused him of being a ‘serial liar’.

The 77-year-old was seen ranting about the US leader on Twitter and took aim at Trump calling him ‘incompetent’ and ‘unfit’ to lead.

It seemed to be sparked by new figures revealing that the number of deaths due to the coronavirus pandemic has reached over 20,000 in the US and previous reports revealing Trump’s plans to put funding for the World Health Organisation on hold.

Barbara tweeted: ‘I wrote a song called ”Don’t Lie to Me” after Trump was elected, because he was a serial liar. Now, with more than 20,000 people dead because of his incompetence and lies, he’s proven that he can’t handle the truth.
