British expats enjoyed Benidorm’s beaches for the first time in three months as they reopened post-pandemic. Others on the mobility scooters which have become synonymous with the famous Costa Blanca resort looked on under the safety of face masks.
Benidorm’s Poniente and Levante beaches were far less crowded than they would normally be in mid-June as they re-opened with strict new rules which included segregated areas for the over 70s and a reservation system which will be rolled out further into the summer season.
